New Beginnings: Why Character and Motivation Matter for the Next Generation
The digital world is a vast ocean, and today, I am officially diving in! I am so excited to share that my very first video, “Motivation & Ethics for Kids by M Ayan Ali | My YouTube Journey Begins,” is now live.
Launching this YouTube channel isn’t just about making videos; it’s about starting a conversation with other kids my age about the things that truly matter—how we think, how we act, and how we grow together.
Why Motivation and Ethics?
You might wonder why a kid’s first video would be about “Ethics.” Usually, we think of ethics as a “grown-up” word, but the truth is, the habits we build now are the ones that define our future.
1. The Power of “Yet” (Motivation)
Motivation isn’t just about being excited; it’s about resilience. In my journey to start this website and channel, I realized that there are many things I don’t know how to do… yet.
For Kids: If you find a math problem hard or can’t quite kick the football right, don’t say “I can’t.” Say “I can’t do it yet.” That is the heart of motivation.
For Parents: Encouraging a growth mindset in children helps them navigate the pressures of the modern world with confidence.
2. Doing the Right Thing (Ethics)
Ethics is simply doing the right thing even when no one is watching. As I start my YouTube journey, I’ve promised myself to stay kind, honest, and helpful. Whether it’s sharing toys, being honest about a mistake, or helping a classmate, ethics are the “superpowers” that make us better humans.
